CheckPoint Eventia Analyzer gathers data from other Check
Point products that may be on the network, including SmartCenter and Provider-1
management consoles, VPN-1 gateways, Interspect LAN security software and
Connectra SSL VPN appliances, and sorts the information to isolate specific
threats. It can also gather data from the logs of other vendors' product
including Cisco firewalls, routers and switches; Juniper firewalls, routers and
switches; Unix-based equipment; intrusion detection systems and Apache Web
servers. CheckPoint starts at $18,000 for 10 devices reporting, up to $100,000
for more than 40 devices.
CheckPoint Eventia learns the normal activity pattern to
minimize "false-alarm" events while correlating data between multiple
devices based on pattern anomalies CheckPoint helps eliminate event noise,
allowing security teams to focus on real threats.

Cisco Security Management Suite (CSMS) is an integrated security-event manager
that includes the Cisco Security Manager, and the Cisco MARS (Security Monitoring,
Analysis, and Response System) appliance. Cisco Security Manager and Cisco
Security MARS can be deployed separately but when used together provides greater
value and productivity benefits. CSMS' typically accept security-related
information from multiple Cisco security applications and networking
equipment--including firewalls, routers, VPNs and intrusion-prevention
